Project Overview

This Manchester homeowner contacted us after noticing water stains on their bedroom ceiling and missing tiles after a storm. Upon inspection, we discovered that the existing roof was over 40 years old with a deteriorating felt membrane that was no longer providing adequate protection.

  • Weather Coordination: We carefully monitored weather forecasts and planned each phase to minimize exposure time, using temporary weatherproofing during the strip-down phase.
  • Rafter Repairs: During the strip-down, we discovered some damaged rafters that needed sistering. We reinforced these at no extra cost to ensure structural integrity.
  • Minimal Disruption: The family remained in the property throughout. We used dust sheets, worked efficiently, and kept noise to sociable hours.
