"We desperately needed an extra bedroom and didn't want to move. The loft conversion has been life-changing! The space is beautiful, the en-suite is perfect, and we love the extra natural light. Dorizel handled everything including planning and kept us informed throughout. Couldn't be happier!"
— The Harrison Family, Stockport
This growing family in Stockport needed an additional bedroom but didn't want to leave their neighborhood. Their loft had good headroom and was ideal for conversion. We designed a rear dormer conversion that maximizes space while staying within permitted development rights.
The project included structural calculations and building regulations approval, steel beam installation to create an open-plan bedroom, a rear dormer with large window for natural light, a compact en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin, fitted wardrobes along the eaves, and a new staircase from the first-floor landing.
We also upgraded insulation throughout to modern standards, installed Velux windows for additional light and ventilation, and finished with quality decoration and carpeting. The family stayed in the property throughout with minimal disruption.
